175 Years of Service! 1849 – 2025
This past year, 2024 – 2025, marked our 175th year as an organization and charity to:
- To relieve the distressed and unfortunate, with priority being given to those of Scottish lineage,
- To foster and encourage, particularly among the young, a love of Scotland, its history, culture and national games, and
- To promote friendly and social relations among its members and among all persons of Scottish blood and to foster and promote knowledge of Scottish history and of the contributions Scots have made throughout the world.
Over this past year, St. Andrew’s Society of Detroit has celebrated its anniversary with special events and another great Ceilidh and Highland Games. These included:
